The skimm filter is used to pump water from the pool surface through the filter system. Impurities floating in the pool, such as insects and leaves, are sucked into the filter and caught in the strainer. Clean water is returned through the outlet nozzles. Outlet nozzles are included in the delivery. The skimmer is recessed and mounted directly into the wall of a steel-walled or solid pool. Both manual and semi-automatic pool vacuum cleaners can be connected to the skimmer.

The skimm filter has a bracket and is made of robust plastic. The material is insensitive to pool chemicals and very durable.;
